Hi there! I am working with administrators at 25 pediatric practices to determine the best and least expensive method for document collection and screening. I’d love to hear from you what the differences are between these three vendors (CHADIS, Phreesia, and Docusign) and what is the value that they offer, compared to one another?
The three products you mentioned serve vastly different purposes with only minimal overlap. CHADIS is a development screening tool, Phreesia is a self checking/payment processing solution with a list of benefits and DocuSign is simply a way to track document review/signature…regardless, much of the effort is probably going to be vendor-specific. Is there any more detail related to what you are looking to accomplish, etc?
These are very different products indeed.

Phreesia is supposed to streamline your checkin process. I would say it is too labor intensive for a faced pace office. Of course this is just my opinion. I know a few offices that love it and still use it (slower paced specialist) If you have a slower passed office with several providers and have need of more organizing front forms and check in process then Phreesia is a good product but requires a great deal of administrative work to keep track of everything. I found that it got in the way of the check in process more than it helped. We used for 2 weeks and sent the product back.

If you are looking for a company to manage scan/fax/MR’s then I have used Datafile for many years and they are amazing. They can completely automate your documents process to what ever detail you want. I believe they have a respectable price.

Docusign serves a purpose of organizing forms that need signatures. I prefer AdobeDC over Docusign. Adobe DC allows you to create fill-able forms that can be sent to patients and then sent back to you. They also have a digital signature feature like Docusign. Adobe DC is just so much more robust. It works across many platforms. You can take a word document convert it to adobe quickly turn it into a fill-able form and “Bam” you have created a workflow that has streamlined your check-in process in minutes.
Hope this was helpful
Hi Paulie. We are looking for a platform that will allow us to do screening for telehealth appointments. I know CHADIS is great for this, but do you have any familiarity with Phreesia for this kind of thing?
Hi there! We are looking for a platform that will allow us to do screening for telehealth appointments. I know CHADIS is great for this, but do you have any familiarity with Phreesia for this kind of thing?
The key to this is finding a platform that is integrated with your EMR. Best bet is to find out what systems are truly integrated and better those. The tricky part is finding something comparisons with both your EMR and your TM solution.
I actually don’t know on Telemedicine visits but would assume they have some kind of package to address this.
We are working to integrate and partner with CHADIS for telehealth. Should be coming soon and they are a great company and this is in the works. This integration will streamline the workflows even if they are us are not integrated. Hope that helps.
