We have patients text upon arrival for prescheduled, any suggestions for those without appointments? Following safe measures for COVID, limiting the amount of patients in the office. Also, will have a designated 1 hour for these appointments.
We brought back our walk-ins a few months ago and are using a program called WaitWhile. When patients arrive at the office they “register” for walk-ins. The link is on our website and we have a sign posted about it on our front door. Once they sign-in for walk-ins, our front desk calls them to get them added to the schedule and verify all of their information. Patients are then brought in one at a time when the nurse is ready for them. It has worked great.

Can you limit this to a certain time frame? We only do this for a hour.
Yes, we only allow people to register between the hours of 7:30am - 9:00am and our walk-ins are from 8-9. Outside of those hours it shows “waitlist closed” and the button is greyed out so no one can sign-up.

Thanks very much, I will take a look at this.
Have a great day,
