I am in need of codes for a inhaler spacers and metered dose albuterol to dispense in an office setting. What is the reimbursement and can you bill the patient if non covered?

Did you ever receive a reply and have you received reimbursements for spacers, masks, and albuterol MDI?

Not that I recall.

We administer albuterol nebulized soln (.083% premixed “bullets”) billed with cpt j7613 (3 units per bullet). Reimbursement not the best whether commercial or medicaid. We bill tubing/mask but this is no longer covered by Maryland medicaid since 2021. Commercial reimbursement about at cost. No history with administering via MDI/spacer method.
