For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been reviewing payer guidelines on which combination of codes/modifiers/POS to use when billing a variety of telehealth codes. I did this in prep for a KY AAP Chapter webinar, but thought I would share it here as well. I included the G2010/G2012 codes, even though “technically” they aren’t considered telehealth. Note: this is NOT what or how I have been paid, but rather what each payer has documented on their website.

I think it is also important for people to know what their particular state has, with regard to legislation, in place with regard to payment parity (in non-Covid times) KY’s parity law went into effect 7/1/19, so even after the dates listed on my chart, A-V visits will be paid at parity.
