As we all prepare to change our sick visit coding next week I am curious as to whether offices are changing the way they schedule patients or continuing with their current templates? We are small office with a total of 4 providers, with three seeing patients each day. With the onset of the pandemic, we began seeing well child checks only in the morning and see sick kids in the afternoon, both in person and via telemed. Typically, our appt slots are 15min, and 20min for behavior/mental health visits or new patients. I would be interested to hear what other practices are planning with regards to work flow.
