We use the Vision screener by Welch Allyn- and CPT 99174 but I saw that Plusoptix said to use CPT 99177- Cost effective
Z13.5 this is ICD 10 code we use
Thanks any feedback

I would demo both and look at the following:
The difference between 99174 and 99177 is where the analysis is done. If the results of the instrument are not sent out for analysis, 99177 is appropriate. We use 99177 for the VisionSpot.
99173 “Screening test of visual acuity, quantitative, bilateral”, and is used if you do vision screening using a Snellen Chart or other instrument to get quantitative results such as 20/20.
99174 Instrument-based ocular screening (e.g. photoscreening, automated-refraction), bilateral, with remote analysis and report.
99177 Instrument-based ocular screening bilaterally with onsite analysis
Thanks so much. Have a great day
