I have a question on the new Care Manager Codes 99426 and 99427 for the clinical staff care coordination from the last meeting. I am assuming that I am correct that when the description states clinical staff it must be either a nurse or a medical assistant? We have a referral coordinator that is not licensed that fills this capacity for us and I want to make sure that we don’t leave any money on the table so to speak if we can bill for this service provided by her.
