We have a hospitalist group of about 16 physicians and a few midlevels, however only one of the physicians is paid thru payroll. The remainder are independent contractors. How can we show this on the Medicaid relief application?
You’d count the one physician in the primary provider FTE slot (question 27.) Independent contractors don’t receive W-2s and thus aren’t counted in questions 27-29.
