Anyone getting paid for nurse phone call advice CPT 98966… getting rejected saying not covered service
In general, you should not use 98966 for nurse (not nurse practitioners) triage calls. These are intended for us by non-clinician providers (dietician, psychologist, etc), who have their own NPIs, and billed under those NPIs.
